Qualification for the Olympics in 2008 which will be hosted in Beijing China, will begin in 2007. The FIVB governs the points accumulation and only the teams that accumulate enough points throughout 2007-2008 will qualify. There will be a total of 24 men's and women's teams competing with no more than 2 teams from any country. Brazil, China and America look to be front runners for qualification.
